These are 15amp heavy duty cable leads for industrial, construction or professional applications - where safety and reliability is paramount.

The use of low power capacity, 10amp cable extension leads should not be used where power tools and other equipment are expected to operate at their maximum efficiency as power loss during operation affects the life of the equipment (burn out) and also reduces efficiency (under powered).

The longer the extension lead, the more significant the adverse effect (power loss effect).
